2013 Schedule

Camps are conducted at two locations in California during the months of July and August. Check which time and location is best for you. We expect the camps to fill up early this year so submit your application as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.

Applications will be prioritized and processed in the order received.

There is no charge for deaf and hard of hearing campers for one week of camp for children from California. The Lions of California want to be sure that no deaf child between the ages of 7 through 15 misses the Wilderness experience and are providing full camp sponsorships for local children. We ask that you remit a $30 non-refundable deposit with the application to reserve a place for your camper. Donations to assist the camp in any way are gratefully accepted.

We accept hearing siblings and Children of Deaf Adults with a donation of $400. Camp sponsorships are only available for Deaf or hearing impaired children from California. The hearing sibling or CODA must be fluent in ASL.

If we get sufficient interest, we will have a fee-based Family Camp over the Labor Day weekend. The camp will be loosely structured designed for families of Deaf and HoH to enjoy the outdoors and the company of their peers. Cost will be $175 per person for three days or $225 for four days which includes all use of the facilities, shared cabin lodging and three meals per day.
