2008 Schedule

Camps are conducted at two locations in California during the months of July and August. Check which time and location is best for you. We expect the camps to fill up early this year so submit your application as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.

Applications will be prioritized and processed in the order received.

There is no charge for deaf and hard of hearing campers for one week of camp for children from California and Nevada. The Lions of California/Nevada want to be sure that no deaf child between the ages of 7 through 15 misses the Wilderness experience and are providing full camp sponsorships for local children. We ask that you remit a $30 non-refundable deposit with the application to reserve a place for your camper. Donations to assist the camp in any way are gratefully accepted.

This year we are anticipating a capacity number of Deaf/hard of hearing children and ask for your understanding as we place the hearing children on a waiting list when you submit their application with a check in the full amount attached. The check will be returned if we are unable to accommodate the hearing sibling. Camp sponsorships are only available for Deaf or hard of hearing children. The hearing sibling must be fluent in ASL.

*Do not use Mapquest or Google as they use winding and rough dirt roads.
